Alex Gowans FAIA, IMC – Associate Director
Alex is a highly experienced financial services director with a wide experience of financial markets. His particular expertise is within investment fund management, both as an asset allocation investment manager and a non-executive director. He is the former Head of Investment Trusts at Edinburgh Fund Managers and was previously Chairman of Govett European Technology and Income Trust Plc. In addition, he has held the following non-executive directorships:

Alex has been involved in a wide ranging number of projects with XMI, particularly in engagements where his fund management expertise has been key to successful project delivery. He is a Fellow of the Association of International Accountants and a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals.
