His particular expertise is within investment fund management, both as an asset allocation investment manager and a non-executive director. He is the former Head of Investment Trusts at Edinburgh Fund Managers and was previously Chairman of Govett European Technology and Income Trust Plc. In addition, he has held the following non-executive directorships: 1991 - 1999 Edinburgh Income Trust Plc Alex has been involved in a wide ranging number of projects with XMI, particularly in engagements where his fund management expertise has been key to successful project delivery. He is a Fellow of the Association of International Accountants and a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals. |
