Frank Finnegan BA, DipM, MCIM – Associate Director
Frank has spent most of his banking career in the treasury and capital markets area holding senior positions in a number of financial institutions in the UK, Republic of Ireland and the Middle East.
Frank began his career as a graduate trainee at Scotiabank, and has also worked at Bank of America and Standard Chartered Bank. Most recently he held a number of senior roles at the NAB Group including Head of Corporate Treasury at Clydesdale Bank and Head of Treasury at National Irish Bank, Dublin. Frank was also heavily involved in the Euro conversion project which occurred during his time at National Irish Bank.
Following a switch to independent consultancy and contracting work, Frank helped to establish Treasury departments for a number of banks in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
Since 2005 Frank has been an Associate Director at XMI and has worked on numerous Treasury and Risk Management projects, as well as contributing to economic research and industry reports. Recently Frank has worked on a number of projects focussing on the middle and back office functions of Commercial Banks, both in the UK and the Middle East. He has also been involved developing policies, procedures and processes around Operational, Market, Credit and Liquidity Risk activities.
