XMI’s corporate structure is designed to maximise the benefits brought by the directors’ well developed knowledge of the financial markets. They are guided by an independent Advisory Board – this allows access to wide-ranging relationships within the financial sector as well as impartial and experienced advice on the strategic direction of the company.

John Wright, Chairman

John brings to XMI a strong interest and current involvement in contemporary corporate governance and risk management issues.Following a distinguished career in international banking, John is currently involved in a non-executive capacity as chairman or director of a number of firms, including financial institutions, both in the UK and overseas. His varied career in banking took him to Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East.

David Clark, Advisor

David enjoyed an exceptional career in international banking spanning three decades and now devotes his energies to a number of advisory and non-commercial roles. He was, by invitation, a senior advisor to the FSA between 1999 and 2003 and has a wide knowledge and a passion for education, professionalism and the good reputation of the financial markets industry worldwide.

Bruce Stephen, Advisor

Bruce is a partner and Head of Banking and Finance for Brodies LLP, one of Scotland’s top legal firms. He has worked closely with a number of financial institutions in matters spanning their regulatory and treasury businesses and has direct experience in assisting clients in FSA investigations and reporting requirements and more generally regulatory compliance.
